The Movement

Want to be part of a movement that is changing the way we experience Music?
Then join the Dada community now!

Why is it called a Movement?
The word 'movement' incorporates different meanings. From Merriam-Webster:
- The act or process of moving
- Tendency, trend
- The rhythmic character or quality of a musical composition

Also, at the beginning of the 20th century Dada was a famous art movement (Wikipedia):
Dada or Dadaism is a cultural movement that began in neutral Zürich, Switzerland, during World War I and peaked from 1916 to 1920. The movement primarily involved visual arts, literature (poetry, art manifestoes, art theory), theatre, and graphic design, and concentrated its anti war politic through a rejection of the prevailing standards in art through anti-art cultural works. Passionate coverage of art, politics, and culture filled their publications. The movement influenced later styles, Avant-garde and Downtown music movements, and groups including Surrealism, Nouveau Réalisme, Pop Art and Fluxus.

So here we are. Dada.net today is initiating a MUSIC MOVEMENT because...

1) Our Mp3s have NO copyright protection. That means you can move your Dada music library across all devices: computers, Mp3 players, iPods, Mp3 cell phones.

2) We were born as a mobile music service and music at the core of our offer. So a beat, a movement, is what defines us and you.

3) We want to influence and change the way people enjoy entertainment, and we want you to be part of this change, of this Music Movement.

And last, but not least, as a movement, we are in a constant and continuous evolution …and isn’t evolution a bigger movement?
